Following the lethal gun attack on a Karachi road over Wasim Akram‘s car, Indian diary brand, Amul Corporation stood by the Pakistan legend, as they drew a cartoon claiming it was a road rage. The cartoon’s main message claimed to be ‘AKRAMAN on the legend’, which means ‘Attack on the legend’. Akram escaped an attack on his car by unidentified gunmen when he was passing by National Stadium in Karachi. The gunmen fired at Akram’s car on Karsaz Road near the stadium, but he escaped unhurt. Akram has been provided special security while commuting between his home and the national stadium where he is presently supervising a fast bowlers camp. Atleast four fully armed personal of the paramilitary rangers have been escorting the former Pakistan captain’s car while security has also been beefed up at the stadium when the camp is held in the aftermath of the road rage incident earlier this week, reported PTI. Senior police officials said that they have finally recovered the car that was involved in the road rage incident with Pakistan pace legend Wasim Akram in the city’s busy Karsaz area on Wednesday. Karachi-East Zone DIG Munir Ahmed Shaikh told reporters yesterday that police had recovered the car and also identified the driver as Abid who has been arrested.
