Moeen Ali has been dismissed in the final of the tri-series between England and Australia. Eoin Morgan also followed off the next ball as he shouldered arms to a delivery from Mitchell Johnson, that crashed into the stumps. England are now struggling at 46 for four in their run-chase of 279. Johnson has been wrecking havoc. The 11th over was in progress.
Moeen was surprised by a short one and he fended at it tentatively. The ball took the edge and went to first slip. And then Morgan left a delivery that held its line and hit the stumps. Ravi Bopara faced the hat-trick ball and let it go through. It has been a very good spell by Johnson so far.
Earlier, England had won the toss and chose to bowl first. One would say it is after their performance against India in the previous game on the same surface where they had bowled India out for only 200. For this game, England retained their team. Australia were strengthened by the addition of Mitchell Johnson. Australia managed to score 278 for nine.
