Shakib Al Hasan has completed his half century in Bangladesh’s ICC World T20 2014 encounter against Australia at the Sher-E-Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur. This is an inconsequential game as both teams are out of the competition. Bangladesh won the toss and chose to bat. In 15 overs, Bangladesh are at 116 for two.
They lost their openers inside the first five overs, but since then Shakib and Mushfiqur Rahim have added 104. Shakib got to his fifty in the 14th over. In the same over, Glenn Maxwell overstepped and Shakib smashed the following free hit over long-off for a huge six.
Although Bangladesh have been knocked out, the crowd has come out to support them in this encounter. Shakib is batting on 58 and Mushfiqur is on 43.
