After a disheartening defeat in the first Test, Bangladesh will hope to break the shackles and square the series by winning the second Test at Chittagong. They started off well on Day 1 with Tamim Iqbal scoring a much-needed ton but were bundled out for 220. Tamim played a good hand at the top and scored a tenacious century and was equally supported by Mominul Haque at the top after which their batting collapsed. Moeen Ali bowled magnificently and scalped another much needed fifer to break the English attack. Chris Woakes also chipped with three crucial wickets and helped his side to dismantle Bangladesh to 220. Ben Stokes also had couple of wickets to his name. England once again got off to shaky start as their top-order failed once again to get things going. England will look to get a partnership building at the top and weather the early storm. The are still trailing by 170 runs. Bangladesh are well aware of the fact that a couple of early blows will put England in all sorts of pressure and will look to do so.
