Lasith Malinga bowled Tamim Iqbal for a two-ball duck in the very first over of the 333-run chase in the 18th match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh at Melbourne on Thursday. Malinga, opening the bowling, bowled a full, swinging delivery that beat Tamim’s forward defence. Anamul Haque was dropped by Tillakaratne Dilshan soon thereafter off the bowling of Suranga Lakmal. Earlier, Kumar Sangakkar and Tillakaratne Dilshan scored centuries to lead Sri Lanka to a mammoth score of 332 for one, with Lahiru Thirimanne also contributing 52. Sangakkara became the fourth player to play 400 ODIs, and the third Sri Lankan to do so. Dilshan scored his third score in excess of 160 and got his highest ODI score as well — 161 not out.
