Punjab Kings (PBKS) vs Delhi Capitals (DC) Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 clash was abandoned due to security reasons. the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) then decided to suspend the T20 league because of the tensions at the border between India and Pakistan. However, the tournament is now to continue after the announcement of ceasefire.

Amid these ongoing discussions before the tournament gets going once again, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) might be given a great shock. The team’s most attacking pacer Josh Hazlewood might not be there to play the remaining matches.

As per ESPNcricinfo, Josh Hazlewood might be out of the remaining matches of IPL 2025. He is suffering from a shoulder injury. Due to this, he was also out of the clash against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on 3rd May.

Even if the IP would not have been suspended, Josh Hazlewood might have been out of at least 4 matches. However, even though the tournament has a gap, there is still doubt about Josh being fully fit. In such case, this will be a bad news for RCB as he will be ruled out of the tournament.

In case you did not know, this is not the first time Josh Hazlewood has been troubled due to injury. He was also injured during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) 2024-25. Due to injury, he was also some of the initial matches of the series. However, Cricket Australia (CA) does not have much concern over Hazlewood’s injury. CA believes that the star pacer is going to be fit before the final of the World Test Championship (WTC) final.
