Skipper Peter Borren s unbeaten 71 revived Netherlands from a slump and pushed them to 180 for nine from 50 overs in their second One-Day International match against Scotland at the Mannofield Park, Aberdeen.

Safyaan Sharif scalped four wickets for 27 and Gordon Goudie took three for 18 as they reduced Netherlands to 42 for four in 16 overs.

Borren hit five boundaries and held together the Netherlands innings with his unbeaten 71 off 107 balls.

Scotland are 1-0 in the ODI series having won the first ODI by 15 runs at the same venue on June 28.
