Veteran Bangladesh all-rounder Mahmudullah Riyad will retire from the shortest format of the game after the conclusion of the ongoing 3-match T20I series against India. The 38-year-old debuted in the format back in 2007 against Kenya.

He had the third longest T20I career, after his teammate Shakib Al Hasan and Zimbabwe’s Sean Williams, of 17 years and 35 days.
