The Cape Cobras scored a convincing 111-run win over the Nashua Titans on Wednesday, but the two teams will clash again for a place in the South African One Day Cup final.
Cobras elected to bat and sent in Richard Levi who scored a brilliant 166 off 134 balls in Paarl.
Titans started their innings chasing 317, but opener Henry Davids was dismissed for only seven. A 70-run partnership between Mangaliso Mosehle (56) and skipper Martin van Jaarsveld (44) did little to stem the tide.
They were bowled out for 205, but face Cobras in the semi-final on Saturday.
The Warriors dashed the Dolphins’ hopes of the title with a 22-run victory in East London. Bottom-ranked Warriors, already out of the running, put in a strong performance to notch up a 22-run victory in East London.
Having set a target of 211 in their innings, Warriors let loose their bowlers. Ayabulela Gqamane took five wickets for 28, and Andrew Birch four for 28 to bowl out the hapless Dolphins for 188.
Vaughn van Jaarsveld’s made a steady 71 runs off 87 balls, but fell short with no backing from the rest of the side.
