Titans Jacques Rudolph smashed an unbeaten 83 to guide the home team to a challenging total of 163 against the Perth Scorchers in their opening Champions League Twenty20 match at the Centurion on Saturday.

Titans’ Jacques Rudolph smashed an unbeaten 83 to guide the home team to a challenging total of 163 against the Perth Scorchers in their opening Champions League Twenty20 match at the Centurion on Saturday.
Henry Davids scored an impressive 54 off 38 balls before he was dismissed by Michael Beer. Davids hit four boundaries and four sixes. The opening duo made a partnership of 109 runs.
Skipper Martin van Jaarsveld, who scored 19 off 18 balls was dismissed by Joe Mennie.
The Titans lost two quick wickets in the last over of the match, Farhaan Behardien and David Wiese.
Nathan Rimmington picked up two wickets for Perth.
Earlier, Perth Scorchers skipper Marcus North won the toss and elected to bowl first against Titans on Saturday in their Group A Champions League Twenty20 group stage match at Centurion.
The Titans will be aiming to win their first match despite missing out AB de Villiers due to injury.
