The ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 gets underway from May 30 in UK. Defending champions Australia have just about managed to put themselves among the favourites on the back of consecutive ODI series victories over India and Pakistan. They are the most successful team in the history of the tournament having won it a record five times. With the return of Steve Smith and David Warner, it won’t be a big surprise if they manage to win yet another silverware.
As part our of series looking at the history of each time at the World Cup, today we revisit their past performances and key players from 1975 to 2015.
