After very few appearances in the ninth season of Indian Premier Legaue (IPL), South Africa pacer Dale Steyn is all set to join Glamorgan County Cricket Club to play in the upcoming Natwest T20 Blast. Steyn revealed to Times of India, “Hopefully I will have my chance next month having been offered a short contract with Glamorgan in the English T20 which starts this week. If I can get my visa and other paperwork sorted I look forward to putting all my newly gained knowledge to good work.”

The player also talked through his experience in this season of IPL. “It has been a very different tournament for me personally but fascinating nonetheless because I have probably learnt as much in one season as a squad member as I did in four or five on the field. Sitting with the coaches and `reading’ the game from the side is very different to being in the thick of the action -and I can assure you I would still prefer to be inside the ropes than outside!”
