Devendra Bishoo and Shannon Gabriel put on 52 runs for the 10th wicket for West Indies against England on Day 2 of the second Test at Grenada. West Indies were 247 for 9 after Kemar Roach was dismissed for one. They were on the verge of getting bowled out soon but the last wicket pair stuck it out and managed to get their side close to 300. Marlon Samuels scored 103 earlier in the day to help West Indies out of trouble. He put on an excellent partnership, first with Jermaine Blackwood and then followed it up with another one with his skipper Denesh Ramdin, who himself played a useful knock of 31. There wasn’t much resistance offered once Ramdin and Samuels were dismissed, but the last wicket partnership gives West Indies the momentum going into the break.
