MS Dhioni has won the toss and CSK have opted to bat. CSK make one change, a forced one that is with Murali Vijay coming in place of the injured Kedar Jadhav.
Defending champions Chennai Super Kings play league leaders Mumbai Indians in Qualifier 1 of IPL 2019 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai today.
Since 2013, at home, CSK have lost only four matches – and three of them have been to Mumbai Indians.
MS Dhoni (wk), Suryakumar Yadav, Suresh Raina, Shane Watson, Faf du Plessis (CAPTAIN), Ravindra Jadeja, Hardik Pandya (VICE-CAPTAIN), Lasith Malinga, Jasprit Bumrah, Imran Tahir, Harbhajan Singh

CHENNAI SUPER KINGS
With Kedar Jadhav ruled out, the home team could give Dhruv Shorey another opportunity in the middle order or replace Dwayne Bravo with Mitchell Santner considering the surface. But knowing it’s the playoffs, keeping Bravo out would be a bold call.
Possible changes: Dhruv Shorey for Kedar Jadhav

MUMBAI INDIANS
Mumbais’ core has remained the same with Lasith Malinga, Kieron Pollard, Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya, Suryakumar Yadav, Rohit Sharma, Quinton de Kock and Rahul Chahar a certain lock. Mitchell McClenaghan is likely to hold on to his place as the third seamer, with Chahar and Krunal serving as the two spinners.
Possible changes: None.
