Fox Sports, the Australia based sports channel spotted a new minnow of World Cricket, England. They mocked England’s performance in the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2015, where the Eoin Morgan-led team are yet to win a match. And because of their humiliating losses, currently England are at the bottom of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015, Pool A points table.Even teams like Scotland, Afghanistan are above them. The whole controversy unfolded when the Australia vs Bangladesh game was washed out and both teams shared one point each. At that time Fox Sports Cricket, Tweeted, “”After #AUSvBAN abandoned, here’s the #CWC15 Group A table. The three minnows at the bottom.” The last three teams on the list were Afghanistan, Scotland and England. So basically, they were calling England, a ‘Minnow’.
