Trott, who is set to play in his 50th Test on Monday as an opener in England‘s first Test against the West Indies, admitted that he had unrealistic expectations of himself in the build-up to Brisbane. Trott claimed that it was a culmination of a lot of cricket and having an imbalanced perspective of what he needed to do to succeed, adding that he set himself unrealistic expectations and it wasn’t so much Brisbane it was more the lead-up to it.
