Sri Lanka have won the toss and have elected to bowl first against England in the first ODI of the series. Sri Lanka will looking to repeat their performance from the only T20 that the teams played and Sri Lanka managed to win the match easily.

 

All the experienced players are back after taking a rest and will be looking to make the most of the opportunity. Both the teams have a mix of platers with youth and experience. This series will be crucial in the preparations for the ICC World Cup next year.

 

Under new coach Peter Moores, England will be hoping to make a winning start and would want to register a win against a formidable Sri Lanka side.
