Moeen Ali and Adil Rashid spun a sticky web around the Australian batting line-up, which rendered them incapable of coming close to chasing down the target of 301 set to them by England in the third One-Day International (ODI) at Old Trafford. England managed a formidable target on a tricky surface, thanks to a calculated hundred by James Taylor and some big hitting by skipper Eoin Morgan. Both batsmen spoke highly of the spin duo of Rashid and Ali. SCORECARD: England vs Australia 2015, 3rd ODI in Old Trafford

“Handing the ball to our spin twins was quite easy,” Morgan was quoted as saying by bbc.com. “They didn’t bowl any bad balls and they took advantage of the conditions.” Mon of the match winning batsman Taylor spoke on similar lines. “Moeen and Rashid did outstandingly, it put a lot of pressure on Australia knowing it was spinning and to bowl like that, and front up, was outstanding,” Taylor said.
