New Zealand will be going against Bangladesh in an important game of the 2025 edition of ICC Champions Trophy at the Rawalpindi International Stadium. New Zealand will be coming to this match after defeating Pakistan by a 60-run margin. On the other hand, Bangladesh were hammered by India in their first match.
This is going to be an important match, not only for the two playing teams, but the other two as well. Since India won their clash against Pakistan, it took their total win count to two and securing their place in the Champions Trophy semifinal.
Since New Zealand is also well over Pakistan, a win in this clash will confirm their place in semifinals. Hence, the Pakistan fans will hope that Bangladesh pulls off a miracle against New Zealand. This comes as in case Bangladesh and India defeat New Zealand, they will stay at two points.
If Pakistan beat Bangladesh in their last league game, they will also reach two points along with Bangladesh. All the three teams will then be on a tie, and then the team with the better run-rate will qualify along with India.

Pakistan have a net run-rate of -1.087 (negative), so a defeat by a close margin will not be what they would want. If Pakistan wants to secure a seat in semifinal, they needs to be beat New Zealand by a big number, and then win against Bangladesh by a big margin as well.
