Indian captain Rohit Sharma is most likely going to visit Pakistan before the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy 2024. This tour comes as he has to do a photo-shoot before the highly-anticipated event. The hosting nation of any International Cricket Council (ICC) event generally organises a massive event, that features the captains of all participating teams.
This event is going to include an all-captains photo-shoot, along with a press conference where skipper swill share their expectations from the event. For the Champions Trophy, all the eight skippers will take part in this event organised by ICC.
The official announcement on Rohit travelling to Pakistan has not been announced, and there is no confirmation regarding the Indian captain travelling to the neighbouring nation.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) are the hosts of this mega event. The Indian team will play all their matches in Dubai, which has been selected as the neutral venue for their matches, and the rest of the matches will be played in the host nation (Pakistan).
Dubai will host the three group-stage matches of India and one of the semifinals. The venue for the final depends on India’s performance in the event. If India manages to reach the final, it will also be held in Dubai otherwise Pakistan will hold the title decider.
