London: A crazy cricket fan, Martin Bullock, was so impressed with Chris Gayle who smashed one of the highest scores in Twenty20 history that he decided to swim across the River Tone in Taunton to retrieve the ball. It was Gayle’s 15th six of his unbeaten 151 in the T20 defeat against Kent, and Bullock of Cornwall, reckoned it was worth getting wet for.

Martin said that he had never seen cricket being played like that before, describing it as a simply breathtaking effort from Gayle, the BBC reported. The Jamaican big-hitter was so impressive that he tweeted, “Hats off to you champ,” when he saw the footage.
