In a firm step in the direction of phasing out N Srinivasan’s imprint from the BCCI, former logistics manager MA Satish has joined former media manager Dr RN Baba to be removed from service by the current regime led by President Jagmohan Dalmiya and Secretary Anurag Thakur. N Srinivasan, the former head and the current ICC President, had ended his tenure in March this year. READ: Biswarup Dey appointed as India media manager by BCCI in place of RN Baba

Satish is a former Kerala first-class cricketer who was brought in to serve the board in 2011. Due to his employment with India Cements, the company owned by N Srinivasan which was under scanner of the Supreme Court due to conflict of interest, he was removed from his post for a brief period. He returned to his post in January this year, after order had been issued by the Supreme Court on the IPL scandal. He has now been replaced, at least for the period of the upcoming Bangladesh tour, by Rishikesh Upadhyay.

RN Baba, the media manager who oversaw the controversy surrounding Virat Kohli, as the batsman had abused a journalist, doesn’t have a replacement yet, as administrative manager Biswarup Dey was given to perform Baba’s role, besides his own, for the Bangladesh series.
