In the 34th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Glenn Maxwell got Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) under way with a clacking shot over long on that was almost pouched by Yusuf Pathan in the deep. Yusuf made a desperate dive but it was a difficult effort and the ball dropped in front of Yusuf and went into the boundary ropes. Maxwell then hammered the ball down the ground and it was just a single of though. Sehwag then played a delicious cut shot that the ball dissected two off-side fielders and the ball went to the boundary and that was Sehwag at his glorious best. Ryan ten Doeschate bowled the 12th over and there was nearly a caught and bowled effort from Sehwag. A half-volley from the bowler saw a lovely lofted drive from Sehwag for another boundary.
