Heino Kuhn signs up for Kent as Kolpak player

This will be Kuhn's first stint in county cricket.

South Africa’s Heino Kuhn has signed up with Kent as Kolpak player for the upcoming domestic season. However, that is subject to him obtaining visa and registration. Kuhn will play for Kent across formats. Kuhn has represented South Africa in 4 Tests and has scored 113 runs at 14.12. Meanwhile, he has scored 49 runs from 7 T20Is at 12.25 with strike rate of 116.66. Nevertheless, Kuhn holds decent record in First-Class cricket holding 9,698 runs at 43.48, including 23 hundreds and 46 fifties.

He has also scored 3,795 runs in the 50-over format and 1403 runs in T20s. Kuhn is excited to play for Kent and bring his South African experience in his first stint of county cricket. Paul Downton, Director of Kent, also welcomed Kuhn in the club.
