During the IPL 2023 match between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Gujarat Titans (GJ), Rinku Singh faced Yash Dayal and smashed shots all around the stadium to lead his team towards victory in the history of franchise league.
Dayal took five back to back sixes, which mad Rinku one of the finest hitters for India at present.
Very few people have imagined the 26-year-old to make a comeback. Even Yash thought there to be no comeback after what he had to face.
But there is a saying which goes by- ‘the wounds of past heal with time’. This is what has exactly happened with the pacer.
Yash picked up 15 wickets in the 2024 edition of IPL and even kept the same dominant performance in Duleep Trophy as well. He was even resulted in him being awarded a call to the national team for test series against Bangladesh.
His comeback is nothing other than a miracle and apart from all the support he got during his time, Kohli had the most important role in making him a better version of Yash Dayal.
Before the journey of RCB for the IPL 2024, Kohli called him for a small conversation, though Yash initially thought he had done something wrong.
