Matt Machan lost his wicket to Tillakaratne Dilshan in a marginal lbw call. He got out for 19 runs of 31 balls leaving Scotland at 44/3 in 11.2 overs in their chase of 364 against Sri Lanka in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015. Scotland will now find it difficult to make any impact in the match as Machan is one of the more established Scottish batsmen.

His wicket brings Freddie Coleman to the crease alongside skipper Preston Mommsen. Kyle Coetzer and Calum MacLeod, the openers, were already sent back to the hut. Sri Lanka are well on top of this game now and they will look forward to wrapping this contest up quickly.

Earlier Sri Lanka posted a huge score of 363 riding on excellent centuries from Kumar Sangakkara and Tillakaratne Dilshan. Scotland enetered the match as underdogs and the first innings justified the tittle. It is not likely that Scotland will make a good chase out of this huge score.
