Opener Tillakaratne Dilshan and skipper Mahela Jayawardene scored unbeaten half-centuries as Sri Lanka crushed West Indies by nine wickets in ICC World T20 warm-up game on Thursday.

Jayawardene knock of 57 not out included six fours and two sixes while his partner Dilshan struck 50 from 38 balls s the hosts chased down the moderate total of 133 with ease.

Sri Lanka chased down the target with more than four overs to spare.

Earlier, after Jayawardene won the toss and elected to field, Sri Lanka got their first breakthrough early in he innings when Nuwan Kulasekara bowled Dwayne Smith for five.

Johnson Charles top-scored for West Indies scoring 30 while Kulasekara was the pick of the bowlers for the hosts picking up two wickets for 35 runs.

Brief Score: West Indies 132 for 6 in 20 overs (Johnson Charles 30, Darren Bravo 28; Nuwan Kulasekara 2 for 35) lost to Sri Lanka 135 for 1 in 15.4 overs (Mahela Jayawardene 57*, Tillakaratne Dilshan 50*; Ravi Rampaul 1 for 24) by nine wickets.
