ICC to discuss code of conduct at Cricket World Cup 2015

Dubai: The International Cricket Council (ICC) would gather at their Headquarters in Dubai on January 28 and 29 for the first round of meetings of the year.

In the lead up to these meetings, various other committee meetings, including the ICC Chief Executives’ Committee (CEC) meeting, would take place.

The schedule of the meetings is as follows:

1. Chief Executives’ Committee: Sunday and Monday

2. HR and Remuneration Committee, Governance Review Committee, Finance and Commercial Affairs Committee and Executive Committee: Tuesday

3. Executive Committee, Special meeting of Full Council and ICC Board: Wednesday

4. IBC/IDI Boards: Thursday

Among other key issues that are likely to be discussed this week, outcomes from the ICC CEC on matters relating to the FTP, ICC Cricket Committee composition, the application of the ICC Code of Conduct at the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 and player safety (helmets, minimum medical standards) would also be discussed.

The members would also discuss updates on illegal bowling actions, anti-corruption and anti-doping matters; final preparations for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015; and various member issues.

The ICC Board consists of the nominated representatives of each of the 10 full members plus three elected Associate Member representatives. N Srinivasan would chair the meeting, where the ICC President and the ICC Chief Executive would also be present.

Meanwhile, the CEC comprises the Chief Executives of the 10 Full Members as well as three Associate Member representatives. Also present is the ICC Chief Executive who chairs the meeting, and, by invitation, the ICC Chairman, the Chairman of the ICC Cricket Committee and the Chair of the ICC Women’s Committee.
