Australia‘s Ellyse Perry will not play the ICC Women’s World Cup Super Six tie against Sri Lanka due to an ankle injury, Cricket Australia (CA) announced on Sunday.

CA physiotherapist Claire Stokes said: “Perry has suffered an exacerbation of a pre-existing ankle impingement injury. At this stage we expect her to be fit for the next match against the West Indies.”
