LG Electronics, the official sponsors of International Cricket Council (ICC), hosted an exclusive preview of the prestigious trophy at the LG Shoppe in Great India Palace mall on Friday.
The trophy was showcased to celebrate LG’s association with cricket. This year, the ICC World T20 2014 will be hosted in Bangladesh from March 16 till April 6.
Commenting at the event, Sanjay Chitkara, Head — Corporate Marketing, LG Electronics India, said: “ICC World T20 2014 is the biggest event for this year and the trophy tour is a great initiative to provide first-hand experience to the cricket lovers in India.”
“As the official partner of the ICC, we are extremely proud to be associated with this property. It gives us immense pleasure to organise the ‘trophy tour’ which aims at building excitement for the upcoming tournament and further strengthen LG’s association with ICC, in a nation where cricket is passion,” he said.
