India go to the tea interval at 108 for 3 with Wriddhiman Saha and Rohit Sharma still at the crease on Day 2 of the third Test at Nagpur.The hosts have secured a lead of 244 runs as well. India had bowled South Africa out for 79 just ahead of the lunch break. They lost Murali Vijay for 5 soon after lunch. But Shikhar Dhawan and Cheteshwar Pujara put up a decent 44-run stand, which was brought to an end after Pujara was bowled by Duminy. Dhawan was looking in good touch but he attempted a reverse sweep and Imran Tahir picked up his first wicket of the innings after waiting for a chance to bowl after a long time. Dhawan scored 39. Skipper Virat Kohli, who has been short of runs in this series, but he too played a rash shot and holed out in the deep for 16. Rahane and Rohit Sharma will look to play sensibly in the next session and also add some quick runs so that India can push for a declaration at the end of the day. Considering how South Africa have batted, India should not find it difficult to bowl them out in a couple of sessions. India were bowled out for 215 in the first innings with Murali Vijay top scoring with 40. Wriddhiman Saha and Ravindra Jadeja to valiant contributions to ensure that India went past 200. South Africa conceded a first innings lead of 133 ,with Duminy top scoring with 35.
On Day 1, India won the toss and elected to bat first. India have roped in Rohit in place of Varun Aaron. Also, Stuart Binny was dropped to the bench and Mishra was given an opportunity. Harmer came into the South African side in place of Kyle Abbott.
