Former India captain Sourav Ganguly and his Australia counterpart Steve Waugh shared a love-hate relationship specially during the historic series in 2001. On Monday, Ganguly ridiculed Waugh’s Instagram post which mentioned his playing for the fourth and final Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) which begins on January 3.
Test legend Waugh posted his preferred Australia XI for the final Test at the SCG on Instagram. According to Waugh, Marcus Harris and veteran Shaun Marsh should open the batting, followed by incumbent Usman Khawaja.
