Indian openers yet again struggled to find their elusive consistency after Al-Amin Hossian led the hosts’ charge to dismiss the unimpressive Dhawan bur Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have settled in and are looking in ominous touch. India were 39 for one after six overs.

Defending a relatively good score of 138, Bangladesh needed a good start and were rewarded with the wicket of Shikhar Dhawan, ending his uncomfortable stay at the crease. With the slower bowlers getting a lot of purchase form the wicket, India’s talisman Kohli has made a rather tentative start but later latched on to a half-volley from Al-Amin Hossian for a cracking strike for six over extra cover. Things went from bad to worse for Al-Amin Hossain after he was penalised for a no-ball but Rohit was out

Earlier, India captain MS Dhoni had won the toss and elected to field first against Bangladesh. India have gone in with unchanged XI that beat Pakistan and West Indies.
