India vs England: Jos Buttler in hospital for X-ray on injured finger
England batsman Jos Buttler rushed to the hospital after hurting his finger during India innings while fielding in the slip cordon. He had an x-ray done on his left middle finger which he ended up hurting while fielding at gully.

During the 17th over of the Indian innings, bowled by James Anderson, captain Virat Kohli nicked one that rushed to the left of a diving Buttler at gully. He got a fingertip to the ball but immediately left the field and was replaced by Dom Bess.

He went to a local hospital from where he returned after an X-ray was done to asses the damage.
Buttler was trapped lbw by R Ashwin for a two-ball duck after England opted to bat first in the ongoing Edgbaston Test against India. England were bowled out for 287 with Ashwin ending with figures of 4/62 and Shami 3/64.
India began strongly with their openers Murali Vijay and Shikhar Dhawan adding 50 runs between them before Sam Curran triggered a collapse with three wickets in the space of eight deliveries. By the time, lunch was taken, India were 76/3.
The 20-year-old Sam Curran is playing in only his second Test match and announced himself with some impressive bowling to wipe away India top-order.
Vijay scored scored 20 before being adjudged lbw in the 14th over. KL Rahul was the next to depart after beginning his knock with a streaky boundary. He prodded at a delivery that was well outside off and dragged it back onto the stumps to depart for a 2-ball four. Dhawan became Curran's third victime after being caught by Dawid Malan in the slip for 26.
