India faced Pakistan the second semi-final of Hockey Champions Trophy 2014. After conceding a goal in the first quarter, Pakistan came back beautifully to settle scores early in the second quarter. With both teams even stevens, the match could go either way and there is a wonderful balance to this match.
India head into the contest with pleasant memories of beating Pakistan in the Incheon Asian Games final in October to lift the men’s hockey gold after 16 years. Not only sporting supremacy but pride of both the nations is at stake.
