Mohammad Hafeez fell for 15 runs off 22 balls as Raindra Jadeja had him out caught in the eighth over. Hafeez tried to charge but, he only edged it and was caught by Bhuvneshwar Kumar, running in from deep extra cover. In 7.3 overs, Pakistan are 44 for two.

Earlier, in the sixth over, Hafeez took the charge to Mohammed Shami. He was able to hit two boundaries and get into some kind of touch. Hafeez, coming in at No 3, is an important player for Pakistan.

Later, Indians skipper MS Dhoni brought in Amit Mishra, the leg-spinner into the attack. Mishra did well against Pakistan during their recent Asia Cup 2014 encounter at the very same ground.
