Jacques Kallis and AB de Villiers consolidated post lunch and played aggressively to take South Africa to 222 for three. Kallis is batting on 41 while De Villiers is on 64 on Day Three of the second Test at Durban on Saturday.

These two came together when South Africa were 113 for three. Since their arrival, they were watchful at the start with Ravindra Jadeja getting some purchase from the wicket. However, as overs passed by, both players played at ease. The reverse swing did come in to play for a while, but the experience of the two was enough to see it out.

Kallis is playing his final Test match of his career. He got a standing ovations from spectators and a guard of honour from the Indian players and umpires.
