Lendl Simmons was dismissed leg-before by Suresh Raina. After a recovery, West Indies were jolted again when Simmons was struck on the pads by Raina in the 28th over. West Indies are 142 for four in 28 overs.

Earlier, Darren Bravo had unleashed his fluent side by essaying a few boundaries. Narsingh Deonarine is the new batsman and he has the task of rebuilding the West Indies innings along with Bravo.

Simmons scored 29 in 40 balls. Bravo is on 42, while Deonarine is yet to get off the mark.
