MS Dhoni and Rohit Sharma put on an unbeaten 50-run stand against West Indies on Day Two of the first Test at Kolkata. India are 136 for the loss of five wickets. Dhoni is batting on 32 and Rohit is on 21.

Dhoni has been the aggressor in the partnership scoring 32 runs out of the 53 so far. India were reeling at 83 for the loss of five wickets when Virat Kohli was out caught by Kieran Powell off Shane Shillingford.

Shillingford has been the most effective bowler of the day taking four wickets in the first session. He also bagged the prized scalp of Sachin Tendulkar for 10 runs. The decision was however contentious.
