India have began well. KL Rahul and Prithvi Shaw have added 40 in eight overs. Just two overs remain before extra time is taken. India need another 32 but the lights aren’t promising either. However, India would definitely like to knock off the remaining runs today itself and squeeze out another three-day finish.

ALL OVER: Umesh Yadav returns to clean bowl Shannon Gabriel. He finishes with a match-haul of 10 wickets, as West Indies are bowled out for 127. India need 72 to win the match and take series 2-0.

BOWLED HIM: That was a quick one from Ashwin, so quick that the offstump was uprooted. Warrican comes forward but the ball beats the outside edge of his bat to thud onto the stumps. West Indies lose their ninth wicket for 126.

OUT: Another one goes: Jadeja pickes up his fourth as West Indies lose a somewhat set Sunil Ambris. Eight down for 109. Could this be another three day finish?

  • 3:34 PM IST

OUT: Well, it took a while but West Indies have lost another. The stubborn 38-run stand between Jason Holder and Sunil Ambris comes to an end. Ravindra Jadeja draws Holder forward and the ball takes the edge before entering Pant’s gloves. The umpire originally declared him not out but the confident bunch of fielders behind the stumps wasted no time in taking the rewiew. The snicko showed deviation and the decision was changed. West Indies seven down for 108.

Next over, Ravindra Jadeja strikes in his first over as Hope edges the ball to Rahane at first slip for his second catch. West Indies are facing similar troubles. Day 3, third innings, the ball turning, the scenario is perfect for Indian bowlers to strike. West Indies still trail by 11.
