    OUT: Well, it took a while but West Indies have lost another. The stubborn 38-run stand between Jason Holder and Sunil Ambris comes to an end. Ravindra Jadeja draws Holder forward and the ball takes the edge before entering Pant’s gloves. The umpire originally declared him not out but the confident bunch of fielders behind the stumps wasted no time in taking the rewiew. The snicko showed deviation and the decision was changed. West Indies seven down for 108.

    OUT: Another wicket falls for India. West Indies are on fire. It’s Rishabh Pant, who falls for 92 as India lose their seventh wicket for 322. Shannon Gabriel finally gets his man. This one was a length ball and Pant, slapping uppishly, was caught brilliantly by Hetmyer at cover diving to his right. This has been West Indies’ morning.

    OUT: That’s two wickets in the over for Jason Holder. India lose Rahane for 80 and Ravindra Jadeja for a DUCK. West Indies are right back in the game. Holder drops it slightly short and Rahane is caught surprised by the ball that just takes off and finds the edge to be taken by Shain Hope. Two balls later, Holder, coming round the wicket, traps Jadeja right infront of the stumps. India 314 for 6.

    West Indies had an opening on Day where during the second session, they three Indian batsmen – Prithvi Shaw, Cheteshwar Pujara and Virat Kohli. But they couldn’t build on from there. Pant and Rahane added 146 runs and counting to hand back India the advantage.

Hello and welcome to Day 3 coverage of the second India-West Indies Test. The visitors clawed their way back into the game in the second session on Day 2 but Ajinkya Rahane and Rishabh Pant put India back on top with an unbeate 146-run partnership to take India to 308 for 4 at stumps. India trail West Indies by three runs, and with Ravindra Jadeja and R Ashwin still to come, this may once again be a long day for the Windies.
