India Test skipper Virat Kohli tweets that he ‘absolutely loves the vibe’ as the team reaches Australia for their upcoming tour. The series includes two women’s cricket matches followed by 5 One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and 3 Twenty20 Internationals and is considered to be very important prior to the mega event of ICC World T20 2016. Kohli on Wednesday tweeted that the series would be a great start to the year 2016. The cricketer wrote, “Touch Down Australia. Great place to start 2016. Absolutely love the vibe here. #PositiveVibes”. He also added a picture of himself inside the team bus. Here is the tweet:

The series is all set to start from January 12 while an Indian Eves team will be seen playing the Western Australia XI in two matches taking place on January 8 and January 9. The squad announced for the India tour of Australia comprises of many surprise selections. While raw talents like Rishi Dhawan, Gurkeerat Singh Mann, Manish Pandey and Barinder Sran will be seen playing in the ODIs, the T20Is may see a comeback of Ashish Nehra and Yuvraj Singh to the national side. Good news for the Indian team surely has to be the inclusion of their star bowler Mohammed Shami who was sidelined for long following his injuries.
