Kings XI Punjab co-owner Preity Zinta has advised her players to stay away from greasy foodstuffs like Aloo paratha, gravy chicken, malai kofta whenever they play in their home state.

Kings XI Punjab co-owner Preity Zinta has advised her players to stay away from greasy foodstuffs like Aloo paratha, gravy chicken, malai kofta whenever they play in their home state.
“We have been strictly instructed by Preity to go slow on serving the players any oily food even if the cravings are intense,” said Pallav Singhal, the executive chef with JW Marriott hotel was quoted saying by TOI.
A part of instruction strongly recommends the breakfast and dinner to be high on protein and low on carbs.
According to sources close to the team said that skipper Adam Gilchrist has requested his players to check their alcohol intake.
Even the 40-year-old Bollywood actress has put her own daily diet under the knife, staying away from fatty foods.
“For Preity, we have been told to keep simple kadi-chawal on stand-by all the time,” said Singhal.
The team had recently unveiled its new logo ahead of the fifth edition.
