West Indies off-spinner Sunil Narine will be available to play for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for the entire fifth season of the Indian Premier League (IPL), chief executive Venky Mysore said.
ESPN-Cricinfo reported that Narine was free to play for the full tournament.
The 23-year-old Narine was under consideration for the West Indies team to face Australia in a three-Test series, which overlaps with the IPL.
This followed a memorable year for the all-rounder, which included his international debut and being picked up by KKR for $700,000 in the IPL auction.

Narine does not hold a West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) central retainer contract and has not played a Test yet, but his form in the recent One-day and Twenty20 Internationals against the Australians, where he was virtually unplayable, increased the possibility of his selection. (IANS)
