# Mahendra Singh Dhoni, in the course of his 44 off 23 balls, has completed his 3000 runs in Twenty20 – 3036 at an average of 34.50 in 144 matches. He has joined three Indians – Suresh Raina (3584), Rohit Sharma (3572), Virat Kohli (3212).
# Michael Hussey has aggregated 177 at an average of 88.50 in four matches – the leading run-scorer for Chennai in the IPL 2013. He became the only Chennai player to post two fifties in the present competition.
# Dhoni’s aggregate of 138 runs at an average of 34.50 in five matches, including a fifty, has the next best for Chennai in the present competition.
# Delhi Daredevils (83) have posted their lowest total at the IPL – their previous lowest was 87 against Rajasthan Royals at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai on May 30, 2008.
# Delhi Daredevils have contested eight matches without a victory between May 22, 2012 and April 18, 2013 – their worst sequence in the IPL.
# With their 86-run victory, Chennai Super Kings have equalled their previous biggest win over Delhi Daredevils at the IPL. They had won by 86 runs against Delhi at Chepauk on May 25, 2012.
