IPL 2014 Auction: Brendon McCullum sold to Chennai Super Kings for Rs 3.25 crores

New Zealand’s explosive captain, Brendon McCullum, the highest run-scorer in T20Is, has been sold for a shoestring INR 3.25 crores to the
Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

The bid for Baz was opened by CSK, but Mumbai Indians (MI) kept on matching their bids. MI eventually raised the bar to Rs 3 crores when CSK bought him over with a 3.25-crore bid.

It was surprising that the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) did not even bid for their ex-captain.
