South Africa’s middle-order batsman, Jean Paul Duminy has been bought by the Delhi Daredevils for INR 2.2 crores.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) started rather late on Duminy, and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SH) followed suit almost immediately. RCB and SH kept on bidding while DD entered late at 1.8 crores.

SH opted out at this stage, and RCB backed out at 2.2 crores. SH had used up all their ‘Right to Match’ cards and therefore could not bid for Duminy.
