Delhi Daredevils had released all their players before the auction, which meant that they had all five Right to Match cards remaining. They have used up three of them, but two still remain.

Biggest purchase: The underrated Jimmy Neesham for a dirt-cheap one crore.

Biggest surprise: Going all-out for Jaidev Unadkat.

Most confusing move: Paying an absurdly high price for Dinesh Karthik.

Probable dark horse: Laxmi Ratan Shukla.

Team strength: A very strong, aggressive batting line-up.

Team weakness: Lacks a quality spinner.
