The online sales for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2016 matches at Vizag were on sale from Thursday from 2 PM IST. Rising Pune Supergiants (RPS) have chosen Vizag as their home ground after the Bombay High Court had ordered for their matches to be shifted outside Maharashtra due to drought issues in the state. Mumbai Indians (MI) on the other hand, who were playing all their home matches at Wankhede, Mumbai have chosen Jaipur as the venue where they will play all thier home matches. According to the BCCI Press Release, “The online ticket sales for the new venue of VIVO IPL 2016 – Vizag has started from 1400 hrs IST onwards today i.e. Thursday, May 5, 2016.
With five teams – Mumbai Indians, Rising Pune Supergiants, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Kings XI Punjab and Delhi Daredevils – slated to showcase their skills at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, cricket-lovers in Vizag are spoilt for choice. READ: IPL 2016: Revised schedule with new venues

It needs to be noted that tickets are strictly not transferable. Tickets are for the personal use of the Holder only, and they should not be offered for sale, auctioned, exchanged, ceded, sold or transferred, whether in a commercial or promotional context.”
IPL 2016 is a month and a half tournament and the final will be played at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. The final was originally to be played at Mumbai, but was later shifted to Bangalore.
