Brothers Hardik and Krunal Pandya, Mumbai Indians’ (MI) all-rounders, are having a good time on and off the field. They played a crucial role in their side’s win over Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the home fixture. And now, they have bought a house in the city of their Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise — Mumbai. The duo has purchased a fully-furnished two-bed room apartment in suburban Mumbai’s Andheri area. The confirmation of their buying a flat in Andheri’s posh locality Versova was made by their father. According to the reports in the Asian Age, their father confirmed that this was their first home in Mumbai.

“This is our first house in Mumbai. We are delighted because it has been bought by our two sons. The stepping ceremony in the new house was recently performed,” the report quoted their father as saying. “It is a fully furnished two-bed room apartment, and our both sons can live here together peacefully. There is no immediate plan to shift here from Baroda, but whenever we are in Mumbai, can open the flat and stay here as long as we want.”

So, even though they have no plans to shift their base from Baroda to Mumbai, buying a flat in Mumbai does make sense for Hardik Pandya and Krunal.
