BCCI have announced list for upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) player auctions 2018. The list consists of 578 players. This includes 62 capped Indian players, 298 uncapped Indians, 182 capped overseas, 34 uncapped overseas and 2 cricketers from associate nations.
A marquee list of 16 players is also out, that include 6 Indian players. These players are expected to receive the highest bit during the auctions. The 6 Indian players have a base price of INR 2 crores. They are Ravichandran Ashwin, Gautam Gambhir, Shikhar Dhawan, Ajinkya Rahane, Harbhajan Singh and Yuvraj Singh. The oversees players, who are included in the list are Chris Gayle, Ben Stokes, Kane Williamson, Glenn Maxwell, Joe Root, Mitchell Starc, Faf du Plessis, Dwayne Bravo, Kieron Pollard and Shakib Hasan.

Other Indian players who have set their base price as high as 2 cr are Murali Vijay, KL Rahul, Kedar Jadhav, Dinesh Karthik, Robin Uthappa, Yuzvendra Chahal and Karn Sharma.
The IPL player auction will be held on January 27 and 28 in Bengaluru.
